GCSE Biology: Homeostasis and Response
Homeostasis is about keeping internal conditions constant despite external change. It is a high-value topic because it links nerves, hormones, the kidney and blood glucose — and almost guarantees an extended-response question on each paper.

The kidney essay almost always rewards a clear sequence: filtration → reabsorption → ADH adjusts water reabsorption in the collecting duct.
